Anders Engman

Fantasi II, 1995, acrylic, 30 x 30 cm

I have painted for a long time red non-figurative compositions, as somewhere got the starting point in the Russian Malevitj Construktivism. My red compositions are about the color's ability to independent life, freed from motifs and symbols, and on the power of color to lighten the light. It can be described as an energy exchange in several dimensions, for example between feeling and light.
